Veterans Affairs (V.A.) Benefits

Students are encouraged to use V.A. Benefits to pay their tuition if available. It is recommended that students paying their tuition in this manner remain in close contact with the Office of Veteran’s Affairs to ensure that this process is handled correctly. For initial guidance and an overview of the process and steps necessary to use V.A. Benefits, please refer to the VA Website. If you need to apply for benefits, we recommend going online using the Veterans On-Line Application (VONAPP).

The Certifying Official at PTI is here to certify and advise Veteran Students. The Certifying Official does not work for the Veteran Administration (VA) and does not have access to any VA files. The Certifying Official cannot guarantee whether you will receive benefits or when those benefits will arrive.

Students who are using VA Benefits must complete an “Authorization for VA Certification” and a “Veterans Addendum” (during online registration). Students must also supply Peak with transcripts from all Post-Secondary Institutions attended previously. Please contact your Peak Representative for assistance.
